I will share some experiences and lessons learned at CUNA Mututal from integrating and applying standard methods (business process modeling, requirements management, project management, change management, and organizational design) on a large strategic project at CUNA Mutual Group. I will demonstrate how we created the “Project Process”, from five individual standalone methodologies. Also, point out areas of overlap between the methods, how they support and interact, how they contributed to business results, and general lessons learned.
Focusing a project around a backbone of process and integrated methods allowed us to improve our execution of a large strategic project. I’ll also demonstrate how a simple “project document dependency chart” was used to “teach our clients to fish” and help promote acceptance of the new integrated approach.
