I heartily agree. CM planning has to be included in the original charter, to account for schedule and resource requirements of the effort, if for no other reason. I wonder what would result if organizations routinely trained their employees on the fundamentals of CM, thereby preparing their staff for inevitable change? Would having a common understanding of its emotional & psychological impacts, and even promoting open discussion about them, facilitate moving through the phases more easily and with less turmoil? Thanks for introducing us to Ms. Ewin - will definitely check out her literature!
