By focusing on standardized metrics, definitions, and related processes, this training shows BPM professionals how to link business strategy, processes and metrics and rapidly asses performance gaps and opportunities. It uses well understood techniques such as business process “thread” definition, prioritization, strategy assessment, scorecard development, data sourcing plans, and final benchmarking steps to facilitate alignment of all process resources to strategic and tactical goals. Instructor Biography:
Joe was a member of the board of directors of the supply-chain council from 2001 to 2004 and served as the chair of the board in 2003. He is the author of the PCOR process reference model, the reference model describing how to manage process. He has published articles and speaks frequently on the benefits and application of process management. Caspar Hunsche is managing Director of Process Core Group. Caspar is the original author of the Design Chain and Customer Chain reference models. He has worked with companies in different industries (high tech, chemical, transportation, government, manufacturing, automotive). Caspar spent most of his professional career in supply chain operational roles: logistics, supply/demand planning, management reporting and central back-office. He has led, guided and/or supported dozens of change programs on strategic, tactical and operational level. He led the supply chain information systems merger planning in the HP/Compaq merger. Caspar is a strong advocate of standard reference models. He has published articles and briefs and speaks frequently on the benefits and how-to-use. He has trained many process owners and consultants around the world in the effective use of standard reference models. Caspar continues to support the development of the DCOR and CCOR reference models and integration with the SCOR model as a member of the special interest groups of the supply-chain council.
