Round Table Details

Many Business Process Management (BPM) vendors talk about how their software allows you to optimize processes with just the click of a button.  It’s a nice dream to believe in this “Nirvana” extending to processes outside your immediate scope of control, but the reality is that most people find that their corporate cultures do not empower just one person alone to change thresholds, adjust approval levels, or make wholesale changes to longstanding business processes. In most cases, process involves collaboration and involves other groups and decision-makers.

The key is to provide a way to make short-term changes within your control while quickly collaborating to implement longer-term process improvements. It’s also about balancing I.T.’s control over mission critical infrastructure with the need for business people to make changes themselves.

Attend this provocative webcast with Savvion and independent BPM consultant and blogger Sandy Kemsley to learn how optimizing and fine-tuning processes can be accomplished in reality – not the way some vendors would have you believe.

  • Learn about best practices for identifying the most relevant key performance indicators to track, and practical approaches to making them available to people who need them
  • Learn 3 Golden Rules for how to analyze and improve operational processes once problems are identified.
  • Discuss the most common corporate cultures and how they affect short and long term optimization of business processes.
  • Hear how leading companies today are making incremental process improvement within their BPM framework for continuous innovation and ROI.
