This webinar will discuss how to make your financial service organization more responsive to customers, opportunities and threats through event-driven processes in business process management (BPM). This will include the importance and meaning of events relative to a business process and the links between BPM and complex event process (CEP).

Featured Speakers:

Sandy Kemsley, is an independent analyst, systems architect and blogger, specializing in business process management and Enterprise 2.0. During her career of more than 20 years, Kemsley has started and run successful product and service companies, including a desktop workflow and document management product company and a 40-person services firm specializing in BPM and e-commerce. She was FileNet’s (now IBM) Director of eBusiness Evangelism during the launch of their eProcess BPM product, and has been a featured speaker on BPM and its impact on business at conferences and customer sites in several countries. Currently, she practices as a BPM analyst and architect, performing engagements for end-user organizations and BPM vendors; she also writes the popular “Column 2” BPM blog at www.column2.com and is a contributing author on several social media-related blogs.

Ajay Khanna, is responsible for setting the direction and positioning of Progress BPM. Ajay has more than 14 years of technology experience, including BPM, CRM and ERP systems. Past roles include consulting, engineering, software design, and product management. Prior to Progress|Savvion, he helped design and develop complex business applications for Amdocs CRM. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Santa Clara University and a Bachelors of Engineering from Thapar University.
