    Ms. Hill has more than 20 years of IT experience in various areas and roles, including operations and support, database development and administration, industry analysis, software marketing, and hardware and software sales. She is an architecture expert, and her distinct field of expertise is software infrastructure technology. Ms. Hill's research focuses on middleware and Web services, and she is also a recognized authority on data warehousing and business intelligence, and real-time enterprise and business process management. She often speaks at vendor conferences and is frequently quoted in industry trade magazines. Prior to joining Gartner (META Group) in June 2002, Ms. Hill held positions with Vitria, MCI, and IBM. She received an MBA in Information Systems from NY University/Stern School of Business and a BA from Barnard College/Columbia University.
