After attending the Roundtable, please complete our BR exit poll.

This is Part 2 of a 2-part KPI webinar series. Part 1 introduced the Rule Maturity Model and focused on the requirements and benefits of Rule Maturity Model Level 2. That's because Level 2 is the most common target level among organizations today. It is also the level at which today’s standards, methods, and technology come together. Part 1 also provided insight into the kind of software functionality needed for an organization or project to explore all aspects of Rule Maturity Model Level 2. This functionality included important business rule metadata and traceability of business rules to that metadata and today’s standard models. Part 1 provided a glimpse of this functionality from the KPI STEP™ Workbench.

Part 2 picks up where Part 1 left off. It briefly summarizes Rule Maturity Level 2 and then provides a detailed demonstration of the Workbench, specifically:

    • How to enter rules into the repository, in natural language and in a more formal form
    • How to group rules into decisions
    • How to link decisions to process charts and use cases
    • How to explore full traceability, without report writing, from rules to process model deliverables to object models.

The presentation concludes with an overview of methodology pieces that fully support Rule Maturity Level 2, especially when using Level 2 software.
