    Round Table Details

Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) has become an essential technology component of a Business Process Management (BPM) solution.  After all, what could be more helpful than viewing real-time information about process performance? How about the ability to automatically trigger corrective actions?  Or, better yet, being able to diagnose issues before they take place? Just as a pilot wouldn’t fly a plane without being able to view, diagnose and correct its systems, you shouldn’t consider automating processes without being able to have a complete understanding of how they are performing.

While many vendors market BAM capabilities as part of their BPM offerings, in reality they are just providing historical process reports. True BAM delivers process performance information as it occurs, and it is highly flexible in how this information can be used to improve business operations.

Join EMC for an online seminar to learn how the right BAM solution helps optimize processes so you can run your business better, smarter. Topics to be covered will include:
    - The use of operational dashboards and reports based on real-time process execution data for better decision making.
    - How BAM can identify exceptions and respond with alerts and remediation actions.
    - The importance of having BAM integrated with a process analysis and simulation environment to accurately assess and refine process design.
    - Why a BAM solution needs to be able to monitor all aspects of the process, including human workflow, systems-based automation and integration, and information management activities.

This seminar will include a demonstration of Documentum Business Activity Monitor, providing an in-depth look at how it brings visibility to process performance and enables round-trip process optimization.
