Offering Description:
Deliverable-based work sessions that enable cross-functional project teams
to quickly and effectively produce the outputs required in each phase of
the project lifecycle. These working sessions of between 6-25 participants
are intended to achieve a specific project objective.
Standard work session types include (but are not limited to): Project Charter
(2 days), Business Requirements (3 days), Work-in-Progress Assessment (1 day),
Risk Assessment (2 days)
Offering Outline:
(Specific outline will vary based on type of work session.)
To plan for and execute a facilitated work session or series of work
sessions to create a project deliverable or support the project effort
as agreed to by the client.
Facilitation of work sessions includes:
Pre-session preparation
In-session facilitation
Post-session documentation of session deliverables
Deliverables include:
The agreed upon project deliverable(s)
An Action Item tracking list for work still remaining
An executive summary, if desire

Instructor Biography:
Ms. Adams specializes in Project Facilitation and Business Process Analysis.
Using collaborative techniques she elicits, captures and translates team
knowledge about processes, products and services into project and design
deliverables. Ms. Adams background includes extensive experience in project
management, operations management, consulting, training, and facilitation.
Ms. Adams is a Certified Professional Facilitator with the International
Association of Facilitators and a Certified Quality Manager with American
Society for Quality. She is co-author of the book Facilitating the Project
Lifecycle and a regular speaker at International Facilitator, Quality, Business
Process and Project Management Conferences.
Target Audience: This type of service would result from the launch of a process improvement
effort or other large, cross-functional project effort.
