The Babson College Process Management Research Center has found that there are 6 critical elements in becoming a process focused organization--Strategic Alignment, Culture and Leadership, People, Governance, Methods, and Information Technology. Yes, each of them is important, but what strategy is best to build on each one. And is there a best strategy. No matter what the occasion or level of the organization, keeping focus on the intended outcomes keeps you ahead of the game. And you keep ahead by keeping pulse on the risks to the intended outcomes.
McKinsey 7s model is simple, and marketable with executives. I have developed numerous models with much extended utility but it always comes down to these 7 core elements especially when you want to sell your ideas. In fact the seven items you mentioned are captured.
